Summary of the Events on the Day of Action on March 2, 2010
Here is a short summary with links to the reports and pictures from the
actions which took place today (some of which are only in German):
In Bremen there was a solidarity protest in the morning and in Munich
activists occupied the Austrian Consulate — newspaper reports about Munich.
At noon a solidarity action took place in Lucerne (CH) and in Kiel activists protested in front of the Austrian Consulate.
In the evening there were solidarity protests in Innsbruck and Vienna – more photos.
There were also protests and solidarity actions in Stockholm, Berlin, Dresden, Dortmund (reports here and here), Barcelona, Madrid, Helsinki, Magdeburg, Hamburg, Amsterdam, London, Warsaw, and of course also in
Wiener Neustadt in front of the court ( report 1 , report 2 , Photos1 , Video 1, Video 2 )
Banners were hung up in Vienna (for example over Triesterstraße) and
along the A2 highway to Wiener Neustadt.
